HALF
MARATHON 2024
The half marathon in Berlin is one of the most famous running events in Berlin. Last year in 2023, 34,458 runners took part and ran through Berlin's city centre.
Project ELPIDA is also taking part this year. A team of 45 members and friends of the organisation are running for a good cause and collecting donations that will then go directly to our projects on Samos.
We need your support to reach our fundraising target of 8,848€ (equivalent to the height of Mount Everest). Donate, share this project and help us spread a little hope. We are running for ELPIDA!
What we do
General Support
We support selected partner organizations that actively provide assistance to refugees in Greece with products that they need in their day-to-day work.
Local Support
It is important to us that we buy all the products we provide to our partner organisations locally in order to support the struggling local societies.
Clothes Support
At regular intervals, we organise donations of clothes with partners, which we send to Greece by transport
Who we are
Project ELPIDA e.V. is a non-profit organization with the aim to support NGOs
Since we were founded in November 2021 we collect donations in order to buy products that our partner organisations need for their daily work. It is important for us to acquire these products locally instead of sending big shipments from Germany. By that, we want to support both displaced and local communities.
